"Silent as a ghost, he just appeared in the brush only 50 yards before me, I had a good clear shot and hit him through the shoulders. He roared, snarled and swatted down saplings."

"I waited for 30 minutes before I went into the brush and rocks and found him. He weighed close to 350 pounds. It was a great hunt, I also took a nice bull Elk."

"I always wonder though, if I hadn't shot that bear, I might have seen that non-typical buck. But, like my Dad said, a bear in the hand is better than a buck in the bush."
